What design files does Paragon art department accept?
Paragon Printing accepts files in both Macintosh and PC format. Our software library includes the latest versions of professional layout and design programs such as: Adobe Pagemaker, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat PDF's, Quark XPress, and Freehand. We also handle all Microsoft files such as Publisher, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
What media types does Paragon art department accept?
Paragon accepts files sent via Floppy Disc, Zip Disc's (100MB and 250MB), Jaz, CD-ROM, e-mail and FTP.
What file formats does Paragon data processing accept?
Paragon data processing accepts files in Dbase files (.dbf), Excel files (.xls), Access files (.mdb), Text files (.txt), Comma Delimited (.csv), Tab Delimited (.tab) and any other acceptable delimiter (i.e. vertical lines, space, etc.)
What media types does Paragon data processing accept?
Paragon data processing accepts files via Floppy Disc, Zip Discs, CD-ROM, e-mail or Nine-track Magnetic Tapes:
- 1600 or 6250 bpi
- EBCDIC or ASCII
- include record layout (demonstrating length of each field and position)
- block size must be less than 32,000
- fixed length fields, no tab controls in the fields
Can I email files to Paragon?
Yes, our e-mail accepts files up to 45MB. Send files to the art department at: art@paragonprinting.com. If you need to send a larger file or if your e-mail server has a lower cap you can FTP the file to us.
